Who We Are

At WOW PILATES St Albans, we offer regular practice sessions for Pilates Practitioners. Our classes are ideal for every age group and level, whether you’re recovering from a sports-related injury or you’d like to increase your fitness levels. Our St Albans Pilates classes can help you to achieve improvements to your physical and mental wellbeing, from promoting good posture to relaxation and boosts to your mental health.

Who is it for?

Because WOW PILATES focuses on personalised 1:1 programmes, it allows you to be in full control of your fitness journey. It can be an excellent compliment to your sporting or gym activities, as well as being an important strand of therapy for people post-illness, recovering from surgery, or living with long-term illnesses. At WOW PILATES, we provide an inclusive space for everyone to exercise and become fitter and healthier, both physically and mentally, led by Lorraine a fully certified and experienced teacher.

Need to Know

As a result of a back injury, Lorraine was introduced to Pilates. With regular practice she was soon able to return to competitive sport A life of competing in amateur sports, included Athletics, Rowing, Field Hockey, Marathons and Triathlons, gave rise to a number of sports related injuries. Lorraine found Pilates exercise not only improved strength and flexibility, but was a means of improving biomechanics So impressed with the Pilates method for keeping the body strong and well balanced, Lorraine strove to make Pilates part of her every day life, teaching anyone who would listen, about the transformational benefits of the Pilates Method Outside of teaching private sessions and classes, Lorraine practices Pilates regularly, enjoying the challenge and benefits of the Intermediate and Advanced Pilates Repertoires. Lorraine also enjoys, swimming, cycling and walking her dog. When the opportunities arise travelling, skiing, sailing, surfing and stand-up paddle boarding, to name but a few...
