Who We Are
The Collaboration Choir is a nationwide community pop choir founded by Carrie Rawlings, built around wellbeing and the joy of singing together. The St Albans choir meets weekly at St Mary's Church Hall, Marshalswick, led by Choir Director Amy Cordina – a Vocal Balance Accredited Vocal Coach and Disney Teaching Artist. Each week the group learns a favourite pop song piece by piece, building harmonies together until it's performance-ready, all in a warm, no-pressure environment.
Who is it for?
This choir is for any adult aged 18+ who loves music, whatever their experience – you don't need to have sung before, read music, or audition to join. It's a lovely way to meet like-minded people locally, build confidence, and enjoy 90 minutes that are entirely for you each week.
Need to Know
Rehearsals run every Tuesday, 10:30am–12pm, at St Mary's Church Hall, 1 Sherwood Avenue, St Albans, AL4 9QA (small on-site car park, plus free parking for up to 3 hours at The Quadrant Car Park opposite). Membership is a rolling £30 per month subscription covering at least 30 weeks of rehearsals a year, a members' app, local performance opportunities and socials – there's no pay-as-you-go option, though a one-off session can sometimes be arranged directly with the Choir Director. Everyone gets a free trial session before committing.
