Who We Are

Montet Designs is an inclusive arts organisation. We work with schools, charities, councils, and community groups teaching the ancient artform of mosaic making through workshops and largescale community mosaic murals.

Who is it for?

Our mosaic workshops are super relaxed, welcoming, and inclusive and are perfect for beginners and those more experienced in mosaic making. The workshops make the perfect afternoon or evening out for those wanting to catch up with friends and family or to come and meet some likeminded crafty folk! Mosaic making is a mindful meditative process which we’re sure you’ll find relaxing and engaging. This wonderful artform is accessible for everyone and for those that say they’re not arty, we can confidently say that you will leave our workshops with a design that you’ll be proud of!

Need to Know

Montet Designs is run by Audrey Montet. Audrey is a Community Artist and has been creating, making, mentoring and teaching visual art with communities for over 20 years. She has worked extensively with young people and adults in voluntary and statutory settings including, young carers, ex-offenders, refugee groups, children in care, young people accessing CAMHS, adult and children’s disability groups and adults with mental health needs, to name a few. In 2020 during our first lockdown when all community work stopped, she opened her online Mosaic Kit Shop. The shop grew quickly and her and her little team now ship kits all over the world! It's busy and fun and together she continues designing and creating new kits to add to the shop and keep you all busy mosaic making!
