Talk and Walk sessions for mums in St Albans are new, and take place every Monday morning. Organised with the Mamma Social Co. these sessions are here to combat loneliness and isolation in parenthood and give parents an opportunity to meet others, talk and support one another. It’s completely free and you can come every week, every now and then or just as a one off. You do have to sign up so I know who is attending. We meet 10am at Verulamium park- museum entrance, do a walk around the lake and end at The Inn on The park for a coffee. Parents can come with or without their babies/children. It’s just an opportunity to meet other parents, feel connected and share a few stories of personal triumphs, challenges and encouraging words.
