Junior Contemporary Dance

Service Description

Contemporary is a beautiful genre that is an important foundation of dance and allows you to be creative and express yourself. Students learn inspirational and challenging contemporary and lyrical dance routines, developing their musicality and performance skills. The dance pieces are choreographed to a wide variety of popular music. Movements are flowing, expressive, emotive and dynamic. The class has a balance between developing technique (including leaps, kicks, jumps, pirouettes and floor work) and challenging students to learn full routines, building their confidence to allow them to become a more versatile dancer! All abilities welcome and the class is open for girls and boys. All dance classes will work towards an end of term showing, where parents are invited to watch all of the pieces that students have worked on throughout the term.
